BackendLab

BackendLab is a tool that allows you to create and host a web app backend with a PostgreSQL database, REST API, user authentication and permissions, without writing any code The idea is that you can build app prototypes very quickly, then once you're ready to go to production, you can export the source code and continue to work on your app outside of the tool. This export functionality means that BackendLab doesn't have the same vendor lock-in problem as similar products such as Firebase
