I have been a writer for some time now. But only lately have I realized how quickly writing is losing its position as a mainstream media format. Even worse, our brains gradually unlearn how to read text that is not divided into easily scannable text segments.
One of the reasons is the lack of collaboration.
While YouTubers and music artists build audiences at rapid speed using the established platforms of other creators by collaborating - writers and experts usually start from square one. I've built Eightygram to bring one of the oldest and most established concepts of collaboration to the internet: academic letter exchange. On Eightygram you can have your most valuable conversations in public while broadening your audience.
The platform will always be free and without ads and I'll gladly serve as a sponsor (since it's a passion product).
I hope some of you share the vision and are willing to become active writers (or readers). Thanks.
