Orbis

Orbis is a geosocial network that maps the city's interest groups via a technology of group circles that allows users to open a city map and observe in which places specific groups of people are congregating for the most diverse activities. Orbis creates a behavioral map of the city. Orbis is a Mobile & Web application that allows users to create a group and then check-in to real places around the digital map of their region and thus mark those places with the symbol of the group they belong to. Those checkin-ins create opaque circles containing the symbol of their group inside. Those symbols are clickable and therefore anyone can click on the circles around the map and open a page containing the description of the group that is present there. The circles also increase or decrease in size according to checkin activity. Orbis creates a city's geo-social map.
