Passbase

Passbase aims to fully digitize the way people identify themselves by creating a biometrically secured, verified, self-sovereign identity.

Description

Passbase allows developers, with just a few lines of code, to confidently onboard new users and verify their true identity within a simple, painless identity proofing workflow. The Passbase identity proofing workflow applies machine vision to check IDs and faces, giving digital trust-based businesses confidence in the users they onboard. All information is backed by a verified government document, and secured by a user’s biometric signature, and stored against a user's email. This allows future identity checks to be bypassed through the sharing of previously verified identity information with a simple and familiar reauthentication process similar to FaceID. Later in the year we plan to launch a consumerID that will decentralize the architecture, avoiding the creation of an identity honeypot.
