Proeazy is an app-based community platform that facilitates the search for local service providers, such as handymen, dog walkers, personal trainers, and many others. One can view the profile of every professional, make an online booking and pay securely upon service completion. The platform is available for small businesses, self-employed, students, part-time workers, and the unemployed. The goal is to increase the visibility of this group of workers and help to easily connect with customers. Proeazy is free for clients and subscription-based for professionals. To better illustrate the functioning of the platform, below are the steps for booking a service: Step 1: enter the search criteria, i.e., the required service and postal code Step 2: a list of all the professionals in the area appears, and you can view the profile of every service provider. The search can be narrowed down using filters. The profile shows the name, short bio, photo, languages spoken, rating and reviews, number of jobs completed, pricing, and a calendar with availabilities. Step 3: once you have made your choice and after signing up, you can select the desired time and book the service. When booking, your card is pre-authorized for the total amount, and a chat becomes available where both parties can agree on all the details. You can cancel or modify your booking 24 hours before the appointment. Otherwise, the total amount will be charged. Step 4: upon service completion, you will have 24 hours to confirm that the service has been completed. Once approved by both parties or after 24 hours, your credit card will get charged. You can use these 24 hours to tell us if something went wrong, for example, the service provider didn’t show. Step 5: leave a review and receive a coupon after 10 booked and reviewed services.
