Todorant

Smart todo app that tricks brain into completing tasks and feeling good about it.

Description

I developed Todorant for myself after I read over 20 books about how to improve productivity. I took the best out of the books like "Eat That Frog", "Getting Things Done" and "Willpower" — and got rid of everything that is either unnecessary or harmful for productivity. This new shiny methodology, which is almost the same as approaches proven by time but with a twist, helped me to launch 7 new products in 2019. Compared to other apps Todorant has a different goal. When others try to automate and organize tasks, the main purpose of Todorant is to make sure users complete tasks and achieve goals. It is done by limiting the set of functions — not expanding it. I carefully crafted every single part of Todorant to make sure that bad habits (for instance, keep postponing tasks) go away and good ones stay. The main difference which probably achieves 80% of result is that Todorant doesn't allow you to create a task without a date or month assigned to it. No free hanging tasks make sure that stuff gets done. The rest of the functions and limit contribute to the 20% that take performance from good to great!
